We believe you should know exactly what your baby is wrapped in. Here is every material in a Robbie Adrian blanket, how it is chosen, and what we deliberately leave out.

Organic cotton body

The body of each blanket is made from super-soft organic cotton, available in plush fleece or velvety velour. We preserve the natural beauty of cotton itself, without harsh chemical treatments. The result is a soft, breathable fabric designed for everyday comfort and years of use.

Real silk charmeuse trim

Every blanket is finished with 100% silk charmeuse at 18.5 momme — genuine silk chosen for its softness, natural luster, and lasting beauty. Real silk is a natural protein fiber with a smooth hand and an elegant feel that becomes even more special with time, unlike synthetic satin.

Where it’s made

Every Robbie Adrian blanket is thoughtfully made in the USA. Our carefully selected organic cotton is transformed into fabric, then each blanket is cut, trimmed, and hand-sewn one at a time in our USA workshop. Nothing is mass-produced on an assembly line, and nothing is made until you order it.

What we don’t use

No polyester or acetate “satin” trim — only real silk.
No synthetic blanket body — only organic cotton.
No harsh chemical treatments or unnecessary finishes.
No resale. Because every blanket is made to order and never restocked, your baby will receive a blanket made new, especially for them.

Care

All Robbie Adrian blankets are machine washable on a gentle cycle in cool water and may be tumbled dry on low or no heat. Because they are made from natural fibers with minimal processing, they grow softer and more “loved” with every wash.

We describe our materials precisely and never use certification language we don’t hold. Our cotton is organically grown; our silk is genuine; our sewing is done in the USA. We’d rather tell you exactly what something is than dress it up.
